Hello everyone! My name is Sean Carpenter and I am the youth director at Ascension Lutheran Church. I graduated with my degree in theology with my emphasis in youth ministry, so this is exactly the job I am cut out for. I love teenagers and really have a burden to teach them the ways to live their lives like Christ in this very dynamic postmodern world they are growing up in. I want to show them how they are capable to have a relationship with God and be used by God to do possibly great things even at their age. I want you to know that my first priority in this ministry is to be there for your teenagers, whether that is an ear for listening, a shoulder to cry on, or a person who will just answer their questions. We meet every Sunday night to have a great time of fun games, time with God, and fellowship over dinner. We also have quite a few larger activities which allow us all to let loose and have a great time. We highly encourage you to bring your friends, or if you are new to our church or area; come on by and hang out!
