A Week at Ascension

Here is just a sampling of what’s happening at Ascension during this time of pandemic.

 

Sunday

  • While COVID-19 restrictions are in place, you are invited to worship with us online each Sunday morning at 10 am Pacific time.  Our worship services are streamed live to Facebook and YouTube.
  • This year, our adult study group is studying the Augsburg Confession.  We gather on Zoom each Sunday at 11:15 am.  Please contact Bill Moyer, the study group leader, to get the Zoom link.
  • Also on Sundays at 11:15 am, we gather for a virtual coffee hour on Zoom.  Contact the church office to get the Zoom link.
  • Our confirmation students join Pastor Scott on Zoom each Sunday at 11:30 am for class.  7th and 8th graders and their caregivers are invited to contact Pastor Scott for more information.
  • About once a month, our 3rd-6th graders gather on Zoom for Off Road, Ascension’s youth ministry for that age group.  Contact Justin to get on that email list to receive event notifications.
  • Nearly every Sunday, our 7th-12 graders Zoom together at 4:30 pm for G1 Youth – God First.  Contact William for more information.

 

Tuesday

  • At 10:00 each Tuesday morning, we get together for Text Talk and discuss the scripture readings that will be used in that Sunday’s worship service.  Contact Pastor Scott for the Zoom link.
  • Each Tuesday evening at 7 pm, you are invited to join us in prayer.  This is a non-Zoom opportunity.  Suggested topics are sent out in an email from the church office.

 

Wednesday

 

 

Thursday

  • On the last Thursday of each month at 7 pm, the Pub Theology group gathers on Zoom.  Contact Jo Ann Little or the church office for the link.
